The Bistro is our latest all new offering. A mid-size vehicle that’s offers everything the operator needs. This is based on the latest and very fuel efficient Vauxhall Vivaro, Euro 6 platform cab.

Jiffy Trucks are now approved by Vauxhall as a converter.

The Jiffy Bistro has an economical 1.6 high pressure fuel efficient diesel engine, that easily copes with the 2900kg gross weight capacity.

These chassis are built in the UK at the GM plant in Luton. The conversion has full European type approval, so can be registered in any European country

The truck fits in with the rest of the Jiffy family as regards looks, style and of course build quality.

The Bistro layout is that with flow, customers serve themselves from the fridge and ambient areas, arriving at the operator who serves from the heated area and takes the money from them.

From the left side we have the heated area, food is kept to temperature behind double glazed glass display doors, with a money safe, bag, and napkin holder built into the wall. The central part is for ambient goods with some bap holders in the base, fridge to the right with crisp area above.

The fridge is constructed from thermally efficient and easy to clean grp panels, its lined out with easy to remove and clean, stainless steel baskets, with a sprung drinks holder located in the floor.

Our Ambient area has clear fronted shelving to help display smaller items, storage pots for incidentals, and a full size bain marie in the base, ideal for storing bread buns.

The storage side has chilled baskets on the back end of the display fridge, as well as a very handy chilled and ambient tray storage facility, idea for buffet delivery or moving food from on place to another. A  warm water hand wash is also supplied on this side.

The cab is very modern as you would expect, 6 gears, fuel efficient and drives like a car. Whilst the one pictured has two seats, we will supply them with a bench seat, so it can seat 3 people.

All our conversions are whole vehicle type approved and tested by the government agency the VCA, a legal requirement on all new specialist vehicles from April 2013, make sure whatever you buy it has reached this standard
