In response to your customers’ desire for fresh coffee, Jiffy has designed the Jiffy Barista 2 with a top flight Fracino coffee machine.

The Barista 2 has the advanced features of all the other Jiffy catering trucks in the range, but with the addition of a traditional espresso coffee machine. You can offer your customer a full range of hot and chilled snacks along with a delicious fragrant espresso, Americano, latte or cappuccino. There is also hot water enabling you to offer other beverages and infusions.

The Jiffy Barista 2 has the addition of an optional stand-by refrigeration system which, when plugged into the mains holds the chilled section temperature, reducing the need to de-stock at night. This option combined with the standard electric oven hook up means you can operate totally off a 240v electric supply, without the engine running.

The coffee machine of choice is the Fracino, a well-established and reliable machine that offers options from espresso’s to macchiato’s. These can all be tailored to ensure that the coffees you serve meet your own quality and cost considerations. Having enough water capacity to serve everyone who asks on a typical day, or for those very busy days or eventing, the containers can be reloaded quickly, cleanly and easily.

The exterior is just the same as our Gourmet truck, if however overnight fridge standby is required then there will be a roof top condenser.

The Barista 2 has the advanced features of all the other trucks in our range with the addition of a traditional espresso coffee machine. You can offer your customer a full range of hot and chilled snacks along with a delicious fragrant espresso, Americano, latte or cappuccino. There is also hot water enabling you to offer other beverages and infusions. The Fracino classic espresso machine can make up to 4 drinks simultaneously and with 8kw of heat on tap you won’t need to worry about running out of hot water or the all-important steam used to foam the milk. We have also fitted a bean grinder allowing you to serve the freshest grinds of your choice. The Fracino has duel fuel usage so can be plugged in to an electrical power supply (if available) or used from the  on-board LPG tank. Powering a coffee machine on a mobile application can be very troublesome, this is the only method we are happy to put the Jiffy brand to as we’re confident of its reliability.

Heated cabinet, this area has 9  stainless steel baskets (700mm x 350mm) and is powered by an Eberspacher blown air  diesel heater when mobile, or can be plugged into a 13amp electric socket when at base, this creates a convection oven. We offer a range of Bain Marie in the oven, and the heat is retained by double glazed glass doors.

Coffee area, this area holds the Fracino 2 group machine, coffee grinder, has a waste water sink and offers shelving and cup storage.

Refrigerated section, this area has 9 chilled stainless baskets (1100mm x 350mm) it also has a sprung drinks holder in the floor ensuring that the 140 bottles or cans it holds are always front faced. As with the oven the temperature is retained by using advanced insulation methods and double glazed glass doors. The fridge can be upgraded to have a standby facility; this allows it to be plugged in overnight to save de-stocking. This option combined with the standard electric oven hook up means you can operate totally off a 240v electric supply, without the engine running when at events or back at base.

Serving area, this is complemented by a full length stainless steel counter with a selection of chorines; in the side walls we house a money box, bag + napkin holder. Also to hand in the side panels are the waste bin and used waste water tank.

Storage side, on the none serve/storage side you’ll find the refrigerated storage area, our electric plug in controls,  ambient storage trays, the water storage tanks with the coffee machine water pump, and a hand wash unit.

Lighting, all the above areas are well lit with modern led technology; we have speakers from the vehicles audio system to the serving areas to keep your customers entertained whilst waiting.

The latest Barista has an under slung LPG tank which can be filled up at most fuel filling stations, not only does it hold more gas than our previous model, its far cheaper to fill than exchanging bottles.

The vehicle, the Barista 2 is built on the new NV400 Nissan Cabstar, we have been building our Gourmet model on this chassis since 2014. It has a 2.5 litre engine, stacks of power and because it has no bonnet features the best turning circle available, this has the biggest serving  area of our range whilst  having the smallest vehicle foot print. The Cabstar has features such as Hill hold, blue tooth and traction control.

 The Barista 2 has the same in cab controller as the rest of our fleet, one touch turns on the oven and fridge.

Quality and standards, Jiffy we believe are the only manufacturer of our type in the UK to have whole vehicle type approval on all of our vehicles (a legal requirement since April 2013) we are also an ISO 9001 company so by purchasing a vehicle from us you can be sure it’ll be both legally compliant and come with assured quality.
