Where 2026 is going, I’ve no idea. I’m fairly sure it was Easter about three weeks ago.

New reg day is just around the corner. Have you spotted any 76 plates out in the wild yet? We’ve got a few ready to go next week, and as always, I’d like to thank you all for your continued business and support. It’s genuinely appreciated and never taken for granted.

Out with the old, in with the new

That’s about the last of the current-style Grafters done now. At the back end of October, the new model arrives with all its shiny new features, and off we go again.

In the meantime, we’ve been busy building our Pranzo model on the Toyota Proace.

Six Proaces arrived — a mere year after we ordered them, which apparently now counts as express delivery.

Five have already sold, leaving us with just one remaining. So, if you fancy one, I’d have a word with Jon Nash sooner rather than later. As for when we’ll get another batch, your guess is every bit as good as ours.

10 years employee owned

On 30th September, we’ll have been employee owned for 10 years.

I genuinely can’t believe where the time has gone. In that decade, we’ve navigated a recession and Covid, amongst plenty of other challenges, so it certainly hasn’t all been plain sailing.

But thanks to you guys having the confidence to keep moving forward with us, all is well. I think between us we’ve built a pretty special little industry, and that’s something we should all be proud of.

To mark our 10th anniversary, Jiffy will be closed on Wednesday 30th September for one day only.

We’re all heading off to an adult playground for the day — shooting, axe throwing, quad biking, 4×4 driving and a few other activities that probably sounded much safer when we booked them.

So please bear with us on the 30th. Assuming everybody returns with roughly the same number of limbs they started with, we’ll be back to full attention on 1st October.

And there’s another reason to celebrate…

The 30th is actually a double celebration, because Martin Oliver will have been with Jiffy for 25 years.

Martin joined us almost straight from school and has been a key player ever since. A massive shout-out and thank you to him for everything he’s contributed over the years.

He’s now the fifth Jiffy employee to reach the 25-year milestone, which I’d guess makes us fairly unusual — either we’re a great place to work or nobody has managed to find the exit.

And, in true Yorkshire style, we’ve managed to combine two celebrations into one day and save some brass. Everybody wins.

We want your used vans!

Finally, we’re currently short of good used vehicles.

So, if you’ve been thinking about upgrading, give Jon in Sales a call because we genuinely do want your van.

Jon will also be more than happy — possibly too happy — to tell you all about the new Grafter that’s heading our way.

Thanks again for your continued support. Here’s to the new 76 plates, the next generation of Grafters, and the next 10 years.

All the best from everyone at Jiffy.
