It’s been a strange day at Jiffy, Val who has looked after our accounts for the last 29 years has finally retired after threatening to go for 7 years. Val joined us in 1996, and lots has happened here in 29 years, we’ve moved, grown, shrunk, had an eot buyout, people have come and gone, some have sadly passed away, but Val has been a constant figure, and will be missed greatly. Val has been a proper trooper, she lives about the furthest away of all the staff, was never off sick and always got here whatever the weather. I’ve seen her make it in the snow, when our younger and fitter recruits couldn’t make it from a mile away.

Val we all hope that you’ll have a lovely and long retirement, enjoy all the holidays you have booked, stay safe and stay in touch.

What about your accounts I hear you cry? Meet Michelle, who joined us a couple of Months ago and fits in like a glove, touch wood the changeover has been seamless, and we could be happier. So anything accounts related now, it’s over to Michelle.
