We are getting asked more and more about electric Jiffy trucks, and what are we doing about it?

In truth, we can’t do much just now, because there isn’t a vehicle out there we can mount a body on. We suspect the vehicle manufacturers will concentrate on the more lucrative car market, before passing the technology over to light commercials.

However, that doesn’t mean that we haven’t been giving the future some thought. We now have a clear picture of how we cope with running a Jiffy Body on a pure electric vehicle. The body will be self sufficient, totally independent to the vehicles power, and will just need charging overnight with the vehicle.

Rest assured, when the  chassis’s are available, we’re good to go.

In the meantime, all our latest vehicle do meet the latest Euro 6 criteria.
