Dear Customer,

Having worked at Jiffy Trucks with Vince for the last 28 years, and run the company with him for the last 10, its with great sadness that I write to inform you that things will be changing this Christmas time.

Vince has decided it’s time to retire so he can start relaxing and having some “me” time. He’ll be greatly missed, not least by me, as we’ve worked closely for so many years.

So the plan is that in December 2019, Vince will step down as co-director and customer service manager, and begin his next chapter.

After much thought and various interviews, we have offered the post to Chris Cole. Chris has run our transport and service department for the last 10 years, he knows the products, you the customers, he has great organisational skills and the drive required to get the job done.

We now have to replace Chris, but in the meantime we’ll have a transitional period where Vince will be handing over the reins. Chris will be looking after the contract files once the order arrives, so will be arranging and chasing the finance, registering the vehicles with the dealers, arranging delivery/collection. He’ll also be arranging vehicle hire, coordinating insurance work etc.

It’s a little while away yet before Vince goes, but in the meantime you could be contacted by either Vince or Chris regarding sales, issues or support.

I think by Christmas we’ll have Chris fully up to speed, and then Vince can step out of the picture knowing he’s leaving his role in the best of hands.

I’m sure you join me in wishing Chris well in his new position, and let’s hope Vince has a long and happy retirement.

Kindest Regards

John Briggs

Managing director
