It’s with great sadness that I need to let everyone know about the passing of our previous owner and former managing director, Malcolm Grainge.

Malcom started selling sandwiches from a converted van in the early 70’s, this quickly grew to several vans, which were sold on as on-going business’s. Malcolm then decided to try and start manufacturing the vans himself and opened up Jiffy Trucks Ltd in 1974, running the business day to day until about the year 2000, when he employed a business manager to run it for him. He did however remain as MD, until the Employee buyout was finalised in 2016.

It’s a sad day for Jiffy Trucks, he was a big part of the business for many years, he’ll be greatly missed and always remembered .Our thoughts are with his wife, his daughters and grandchildren at this sad time.
